Business Hall of Fame Event Raises Nearly $800,000 for JA Programs

“Each day, when I look in the mirror, I see the man I was destined to become staring back at me,” said AJ Donner, graduate of the JA Marine Pre-Apprenticeship. “Thanks to Junior Achievement and its partner, FB Marine Group, I have the chance to have a great career. This was not something I saw in my future a year ago.”

AJ shared his story at the Junior Achievement of South Florida (JA) Annual Business Hall of Fame Awards dinner on Friday, April 21st. Along with many of Broward and south Palm Beach’s leaders, the evening was a celebration of visionary leadership, innovation, excellence and dedication to community. 

Thanks to event sponsors, partners and guests nearly $800,000 was raised to support thousands of students like AJ prepare for a meaningful career and bright, stable future. “JA helped me build my confidence, find my passion, learn skills and earn credentials I needed to take control of my future and to become and remain a productive member of society,” shared AJ.
